Meet Tim
Born and raised on Chicagoland's Southside, I have had a passion for technology from the jump. I'm of the last generation to remember a time of no internet in most households; yet, still young enough to have been indoctrinated into the age of the World Wide Web and Smart Phones.
The roots of my career in technology took hold in the US Marine Corps straight out of High School. Since then, I have spent the past 20+ years providing a wide-array of "white-glove" technology support to some of the most elite global corporate firms in Legal, Investment, and Engineering.
I find joy in using my skills to help others. I'm all-too-familiar with that feeling of frustration when you "just know" somebody else could "fix it in 2 seconds", or when things break at the worst possible time. LITD is here to help take that stressor off your plate.
LITD's Mission
I come from a large family, married into a large family, and have a large family of my own (5 kids). If my 9-to-5 doesn't keep my technical skills sharp enough, the aforementioned people certainly do! Haha. Since I began my IT career, I quickly learned being the "IT Guy" in the family must be similar to the guy in the family who owns a truck. In other words, you're needed from time-to-time, and sometimes in a pinch.
Too often are the wallets of vulnerable people taken advantage of. It's happened to all of us. Seems like you can't even get an oil change without being told you need to spend $600 on filters, wire grease, and headrest shampoo. Too often I've seen people I care about get sold a bunch of tech nonsense because they trusted the person behind the counter. The cost of living in today's economy is already astronomical. Big-box stores, large chains, mobile providers, and internet providers don't care about YOU. I do. I treat my customers with the same respect I treat my own family: from the elderly on down to the youth. My customer service skills and experience are what set me apart. I have provided a broad range of technology support for Governors to C-Level Executives, Managing Partners, Chairpersons, to the people tucked away in the boiler room, to the elderly, to your every day John & Jane Doe's down the street.
Your best interest is what I keep at the forefront of my mind. I will never do anything to jeopardize your equipment from a hardware, software, and/or security standpoint.
